Valerie McPherson was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baylor University before moving to Belleville, Illinois. There she completed her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2013 at Southwestern Illinois College. Driven to advance in the nursing field, she continued her education at the University of Texas at Arlington, earning her BSN in 2022 and her MSN in 2025, becoming a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

 

Her nursing background includes extensive experience in post-anesthesia care and orthopedics. Valerie is passionate about providing personalized, patient-centered care with a strong focus on preventive health, education, and shared decision-making.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and senior chihuahua, crafting, and watching any Disney or Pixar movie.
